Cost (non-member)

Cost (partner school)
£40

The aim of this event is to update schools on the statutory requirements around what they must publish on their website and to demonstrate how websites can be used as an effective tool to communicate a school’s brand to key audiences.

School websites perform an essential function of communicating a school’s vision and ethos. They are also a source of vital information for parents, a place where school policies and performance data are shared.

Schools must publish statutory information on their websites and it is the first place checked by Ofsted prior to an inspection commencing.  If your website is not up to date, this may give inspectors cause for concern, leading to additional specific inquiries right at the beginning of their visit. More importantly, websites are the first point of call for parents and members of the community. They give a ‘feel’ for the school and portray the school’s ethos and vision.
