The Power and Potential of Peer Review Seminar

29th Jun 2017

About the event:

We would be delighted if you could join for us for a twilight seminar, co-hosted by Education Development Trust’s Maggie Farrar, Extol and Ad Astra MATs. The focus of the event will be to share our learning, as a local partnership of schools and the national perspective, around outcomes, focused peer review and school to school support.

Extol and Ad Astra as part of a Hartlepool cluster (made up of 10 primary schools) have been engaged with Education Development Trust’s Schools Partnership Programme over the last 2 years and the model has had a powerful impact on the culture of continuous improvement as part of genuine and rigorous school to school support.

The Seminar:

The seminar will provide an insight into our learning to date and the role we see peer review taking in our ongoing improvement, it will also provide an opportunity to find out more about the Schools Partnership Programme.

The seminar will explore the following:
• The power and potential of peer review in building effective leadership
• Culture change and the building of trust based accountability, transparency and honesty within and between clusters
• Defining the core elements of effective peer review
• Building the leadership capability required for effective peer review
• Overview of the Schools Partnership Programme model of peer review
