North East Policy Network Event – The Elephant in the Room: Can Learning Happen Anywhere or Does the Space Matter?

The North East Policy Network invites you to join guest speaker Dr Pamela Woolner to discuss an aspect of education that you may never have thought about: the physical environment in which learning takes place.

What impact does the physical environment have?
How does the space matter?
The government spent millions and millions on the Building Schools for the Future programme  was it a waste?
How do you feel about your school and classroom?

We are delighted to welcome Pamela, Lecturer in Education from the Research Centre for Teaching and Learning at Newcastle University, to chair an interactive and lively discussion on a fascinating and niche aspect of education.

Join us for the usual Policy Network formula of access to an expert in their field, lively discussion and the chance to really think about something new.

To sign up, please email Sahir Permall at spermall@teachfirst.org.uk.
