This training is aimed at education professionals who cover the historical periods from the Stone Age to Iron Age, Roman Britain or Ancient Greece. The objectives of this training is to embed knowledge on aspects of the Ancient Worlds and develop confidence in bringing a group of children to the Museum to extend classroom learning.

The evening will include:
A lecture by Dr Don Miller from Newcastle University on the influence the Greeks had on Roman culture and their relevance to today's society
The opportunity to handle objects from British prehistory
A versatile enquiry activity based in the Hadrian's Wall gallery that can be used as an excellent planning tool
The opportunity to network with Museum staff and other teaching professionals
