STEM Day

Aimed at 8-16 year olds - about 100 students in groups of about 16 rotate around hour long sessions each highlighting a STEM application in the real world of work. Previous activities have included 3D printing, bridge building, robot building, making toothpaste, smart materials etc.
These have been massively popular over the past two years but we are changing the format a little this year. There will be five events but schools can send a maximum of 12 students per event. This is aimed at sharing the inspiration across a larger number of schools. The mixed age format (primary and secondary working together) has worked
really well so we will continue with that.
This session runs from 09:30-14:30 with lunch provided.
