Spring Term Ofsted Briefings

Get the latest and most up-to-date information from Ofsted on a termly basis
with a themed discussion around careers education

SCHOOLS NorthEast has set up a series of termly events with Ofsted to support schools in the region to stay current on all information regarding inspections. Each event will include a general update, followed by further discussion on a particular theme.

Our spring term briefings will include a themed discussion around careers education.  We are delighted to be joined by Adrian Lyons HMI, Ofsted’s National Lead for economics, business and enterprise. Adrian led on the ‘Getting Ready for Work’ report, published by Ofsted in November 2016.

We will hold two events in two different locations in the region, to maximise the opportunity for school leaders to attend. These will take place on Wednesday 5 April:

South of the region
Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm
Venue: Inspire2 Learn, Normanby Road, South Bank, Middlesbrough, TS6 9AE

North of the region
Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Venue: The Durham Centre, Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham, DH1 1TN

These events are open to delegates from schools across the region. The cost of attendance is £15+VAT per delegate. Partner Schools receive a discounted rate of £10+VAT.
