The Seminar
The first seminar of two in this education law series will consider, from a practical perspective, the potential litigation risks faced by those with day-to-day responsibility for managing SEND, statements/EHC Plans and initial exclusions and appeals.

The Speaker
Darren Finlay and Janine Wolstenholme are barristers at Park Square Barristers, Leeds, whose practices include
litigation arising in the context of education law and special educational needs.

The Networking
The main purpose of the Schools Breakfast Club is the opportunity for members of staff to meet over breakfast and discuss tricky issues affecting their schools together with the experts.

Who should attend?
Those with day-to-day management of SEND matters and appeals or who may be involved in fact finding and decision making. The aim is to help you avoid pitfalls, and provide advice and guidance to help avoid litigation.
