Following the success of last year's event, we are pleased to confirm that we will be holding a Science Technician Conference once again on Friday 19th May 2017, at George Stephenson High School.

The day is a fantastic opportunity for Science Technicians in our region to enjoy high quality CPD and network with colleagues from other schools.

This year's keynote speech will be delivered by Simon Quinnell, who is National Technician Lead and Professional Development Leader at the National STEM Centre.

Simon will also be delivering workshops throughout the day, along with Mary Howell (Royal Society of Biology), Dave McKean (Institute Of Physics), Lucy Tetley (Royal Society of Chemistry) and Jane Major (CLEAPSS).

The day will culminate in a question time style session with this panel of experts.

The event will cost £90 per delegate, to include all refreshments and resources.
