North East Futures UTC Open Evening

North East Futures UTC is a brand new school for 14-19 year olds coming to the Stephenson Quarter, Newcastle upon Tyne September 2018. It is open now for applications for Year 10 and Year 12 from young people from across the North East.

Our 12th March Open Evening will be hosted at Sunderland University, Sir Tom Cowie Campus. This open day will be based around ‘Cyber Security’. There are thousands of vacancies in the Tech sector in the North East. Companies such as Ubisoft, Sage, Accenture and Local firms such as Hedgehog Labs, Orange Bus and many more are crying out for talented young people to come and work in this rapidly expanding sector.

We are looking for future Software Developers, Games Designers, Consultants, Technicians and specialists in areas such as Big Data, VR, AR and security to come to the UTC where you will receive the most appropriate qualification along with project-based learning and work experience to ensure you are 100% ready to join the industry.

The UTC will help you get the qualifications, develop the skills and the guidance you need to find and achieve your dream career in tech.
