Mantle of the Expert Training Day

This study day will enable participants to work with children and observe lessons in the morning. Lunch will provide a further chance to talk to teachers. The afternoon will be an opportunity to look at examples of planning, ask questions about the practicalities of mantle, and include a short workshop on ways to start a mantle.

9 – 9:15 start with coffee and cake
9:15 – introduction to mantle and what we do in St Johns
9:40 – 10:30 – into KS1 and early years to observe classes
11 – 12 into KS2 to observe classes
12 – 1pm – lunch and a chance to talk to staff, look at books, planning etc
1 to 3pm – working with Y5 class (teachers observing/ joining in) as a further demonstration as to how we use drama for learning/ mantle in the classroom.
3 – 3:30 – finish, any questions etc.
Cost: £80 per person.
