In order to help schools to interact with key influencers, SCHOOLS NorthEast has arranged a series of ‘Power Lunches’. These lunches are designed to bring groups of Head Teachers together with key opinion formers and decision makers.

We are delighted that Anna Turley, MP for Redcar, and Tom Blenkinsop, MP for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland have agreed to attend a lunch and meet with Head Teachers in Redcar and Cleveland. The aim of the lunch is to provide an informal and ‘open agenda’ space to discuss local and national educational issues.

SCHOOLS NorthEast held a similar series of lunches in 2010 that were very well attended and received positive feedback from all involved. More importantly, there was evidence (through parliamentary questions and follow up discussions) that the lunches had provided an effective channel of influence.

This lunch will take place on Friday 18 March 2016, 12pm – 2pm, at Inspire 2 Learn, Normanby Road, South Bank, Middlesbrough, TS6 9AE.

The lunch is available exclusively to SCHOOLS NorthEast Partner Schools in Redcar and Cleveland.

The lunch will be free to attend. To confirm your place, please email info@schoolsnortheast.com or call 0191 204 8866. Please also make us aware of any dietary requirements.
