Clerks to Governing Bodies Training Programme

Organised by GL Assessment in partnership with Durham Education Development Services (EDS)

Aimed at new and experienced clerks to develop their professional knowledge, understanding, skills and competence as a clerk, this programme is ideal for North East schools looking to strengthen their governance. 

The programme takes approx. 35 hours and will develop your skills to support your governing body. Your learning will take place through:
• face-to-face sessions
• online learning
• group working
• personal reflection.

At £399 + VAT per participant, this programme helps enable you to contribute effectively to the governance of your governing body and school.
            
A limited number of scholarships are available (on a first come first served basis) for the 2015/16 year as below:
        
• £320 for applicants from small schools (100 or fewer pupils)
• £200 for applicants from a state-funded school.
          
There are still some places available on the next course due to start on 23rd April 2015.
