Clerks to Governing Bodies Training Programme (Induction Day)

After a highly successful pilot year, GL Assessment is pleased to announce the continuation of its Clerks to Governing Bodies Training Programme for 2015. With the role of governing bodies changing and an increased expectation on governors to be involved in school improvement and development, substantive training for clerks is vital.

The programme combines face-to-face and online sessions and is delivered by experienced staff trainers, with sessions involving governors from across the North East forming a key part of the learning experience. The programme is ideal both for existing clerks to governing bodies but also those wishing to take up such a role in the future.

A wide range of funding options are available with scholarships of £320 for participants based in small schools and £200 for all participants based in state-funded schools.
