Chair of Governors Leadership Development Programme

14th Apr 2015

The role of school governors is changing. Modern governors are expected to be heavily involved in both school development planning and play an active role in school improvement. Even for governors with long and outstanding records, these new expectations can be challenging.

GL Assessment’s Chair of Governors Leadership Development Programme will help any governor or aspiring governor. Through a combination of three face-to-face workshops and a number of online sessions, the programme aims to give participants the chance to develop their leadership skills, network with other chairs to share experience, evaluate their strengths and to find new ways of approaching school governance.

The scheme is fully supported, with a dedicated member of staff working to support participants during the online stages of the programme. As the only provider of such training under licence from the NCTL in the North East, GL Assessment is proud to provide such a comprehensive and well received programme.
