Training for teachers KS1 – KS4 and all those interested in art and education (with philosopher Grace Robinson of Thinking Space)

This workshop provides an introduction to the basics of philosophical enquiry with artworks, focusing on identifying concepts, asking questions and facilitating short dialogues. Using a series of simple and replicable exercises, this short workshop will develop attendees’ ability to:

•         Identify rich concepts in artworks
•         Ask more probing, provocative and productive questions of their students
•         Facilitate engaging discussions more effectively

The workshop is led by academic and community philosopher Grace Robinson. Grace is an experienced teacher-educator who can help you make links between the workshop context and your own setting. She can also signpost next steps for those who would like to develop the work further. Teachers of KS1 – KS4 and all those interested in art and education are welcome.
